Two new sketches up in the gallery. First is just a fun quick design, second is one I like to call 'Parenting: Year 1' I did for mothers day last year. I hope it's obvious why.
Aaaaaaand I'm back! Been a while since I did any changes here, as I've been mostly focused on job hunting and spending time with my son. You'll notice the new button above for my portfolio: this is a sampling of my professional work for anyone interested in hiring me. Feel free to click it and take a look. As you've noticed the website has undergone some minor cosmetic changes. I think it looks better and reads better now, although my wife is still not on board with the gallery page. That's alright, I'm sure I'll take a look at revamping it when I get a chance. I've got a new short comic piece, "Pieces", coming out in the IDW's new quarterly magazine "Full Bleed". Not sure when it's going to drop, but keep your eyes open for it. Otherwise I'm in full job hunt mode, and looking to get a few new graphic novels going at the same time. As for ZnP2, unfortunately that had to be put on the shelf for a bit since the time table on it isn't exactly lining up with the whole 'need to make money and feed yourself' thing. But once I'm more established back here in California hopefully I can pick it back up again. Maybe I'll add a section on the site about the development process and the hurdles of running your own one-person game studio. I'd love to dive back into the Northern Lands, and a lot of the code structure is built but it's still too many man hours away from being able to submit anywhere to justify a full time committment. Especially with the kiddo and the wife working full time. But my heart still pines for more Zeke and Pandora adventures, so I'm not willing to give up on it entirely yet.
I've added some new sketches and scans of a few different things, so please check them out and let me know what you think on twitter or via email. Cheers.
